DC Milestone Initiative
Jarred was selected as an inaugural member of the DC Milestone Initiative in 2022 that included writing a story set in the Milestone universe that faced the scrutiny of the top editors in the business.
Professor Latinx Outstanding Emerging Comic Creator Award
Presented by Eisner award winning academic Professor Frederick Luis Aldama, known as Professor Latinx in the comic community, this award recognizes Jarred’s contribution to latinx representation in comics as well as the contribution to the latinx comics community in his book The Twin Blades.
Ringo Awards (2022)
Jarred was a part of YULE which was nominated for Best Anthology at the 2022 Ringo Awards.
Jarred was awarded two Indy Comic Excellence awards in 2023 for Excellence in Writing and Best Limited Series (Crash & Troy).
Comic Book Yeti ICE Awards (2023)
Crash & Troy, a book Jarred co-created and wrote, was nominated for Best Humor Comic.
